2024-25 Peach Belt Women's Basketball Season Preview - Peach Belt Conference

AUGUSTA, GA -- The Peach Belt Conference has released the 2024 women's basketball season preview with both the preseason All-Conference team and the coaches poll. The league has also released coach and player interviews for each team.

For the first time since 2015, Columbus State is the preseason favorite in a poll of the league's head coaches. The Cougars are coming off a 19-10 season season, 13-5 in league play, which included reaching the final of the PBC Tournament. CSU returns five seniors and graduate students, including All-Conference selection Olonna Rawls, along with first-team All-Conference junior Letiya Reeves.

Augusta is second in the coaches poll after going 22-9 last year, 15-3 in league play and finishing second in the conference standings, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016. The Jaguars return seven seniors and graduate students for 24-25 including first-team All-Conference selection Autumn Phillips.

North Georgia finished third in the poll with Georgia Southwestern in fourth and Flagler in fifth. Coaches were not permitted to rank their own teams or vote for their own players for preseason All-Conference.2024-25 Preseason Coaches Poll
